Our Garden

Garden Update 5th April 2022

The garden has been a low priority over the winter months, fortunately we had a really good Spring and Summer in 2021 and we were able to get the majority of the ‘big’ jobs done, as our attention turns back to the project we still have much to do.

The overgrown Ivy which spanned nearly 15 metres down our right boundary fence was at least 4 metres high & 2 metres deep, as you can see in ‘Image 1’ the Ivy is now back to the fence height and completely removed from within our garden.

In image 1 & 2 you can see our shed which looks like it is just plonked in the middle of the garden, it wasn’t at all, there were shrubs one side and Leylandi trees the other side with a section behind with a rather old shed that was falling down right at the bottom and an area for growing plants etc…

All that is left now of the Leylandi trees is the trunks, they had died off because of the Ivy growing from the garden at the back of ours, a new fence is going in here with a Hedgehog run under it so our friendly prickly friend Henry or Henrietta (we don’t know if it’s a boy or girl) can still visit us.

There will be more updates to come as we progress 😉
