And so with a plan fully in place and in the knowledge that our pack would be looked after we decided that we could go on a much needed break, a break that had been planned for months.
After the last 8 or so weeks we were less than mentally prepared to jump on a plane and take a break, but physically the time had taken it’s toll, we were both exhausted as our lives were turned upside down as caring for Luna 24/7 was demanding.
Going away actually felt wrong, maybe because of these events as I can’t say I have worried about it before, we’ve always had our son to look after the pack so in that sense we were at ease, but this time !!
Technology allowed us to monitor the pack, we have cameras installed around the house for security and monitoring our wildlife section of the garden so we can ‘look in’ to see what is happening at any time.
